Fredi (DOB 06.10.2020) is the daughter of Kew (Askew von Tighe Haus) and Irck de la Hutte du Berger and is from our F Litter. Fredi will be training in Schutzhund and CKC competitive obedience. She has no linebreeding until the 7th generation. She will hopefully continue our breeding program should she pass all required health testing and titles.
This section are the health test results for Fredi von Tighe Haus. These tests were done for three reasons; first, breeding by SV standards requires health testing. Second, some additional testing should be required and is not - and third, we want to do all we can to ensure the health of our breeding stock.
I have heard discussions that insinuate some breeders 'over test' to charge more for their puppies and I have also heard that the only reason someone would run non-required tests is because they suspect there may be an issue. Neither of these statements is valid here.

Test: The test is non-competitive and allows dog and handler to demonstrate confidence and control in 12 steps. It assesses the handler and dog's relationship, together with the handler's ability to control the dog. Dogs are evaluated on their ability to perform basic exercises as well as their ability to demonstrate good manners in everyday situations.
Comments: The test is a silly pet test - but she passed with no issues.

Comments: Emmy had scores of 190, 189 & 190.5 to complete her Utility title. This was probably the hardest title she earned because of the number of non-qualifying errors that are possible.

Comments: We had to learn a few things for this level - but again she earned the title without running a single course.
Date of Trial - Oct / Nov, 2019 Age - 9 years Buffalo NY/Syracuse NY Judges - K.Wrey/L.Ferrullo/N.Hayes

Comments: After taking Emmy out of retirement and training for about 6 months, she had no major issues earning this title. She is now the only GSD to have an IPO 3 and Utility titles with both the CKC and AKC. Her title is actually "preferred" Utility because I wasn't sure if jumping her at full height at her age was a good idea.
